Fery Reaches Queen's Quarter-Finals with Career-Best Win
British number five Arthur Fery defeated Adrian Mannarino to reach his first ATP Tour quarter-final at Queen's, calling it the best result of his career.

Arthur Fery, Britain's fifth-ranked player, achieved the biggest win of his career at the Queen's Club Championships on Wednesday, beating veteran Frenchman Adrian Mannarino in straight sets to reach his first ATP Tour quarter-final.
The 23-year-old wildcard rallied from 3-0 down in the first set to win a tie-break 7-6 (9-7), then overcame a nosebleed at the start of the second set to close out a 6-4 victory on Andy Murray Arena.
"It's special to be playing in London where I grew up and in front of all these British tennis fans," Fery told BBC Sport. "This is the best result of my career so far. It's not been easy, there have been lots of ups and downs so I'm happy to get through."
Fery, who had already beaten fellow Briton Toby Samuel in the first round, is the last British singles player remaining after Cameron Norrie lost on Tuesday. He will face seventh seed Francisco Cerundolo on Friday after the Argentine cruised past Jenson Brooksby.
Former British number one John Lloyd, commentating on the match for the BBC, praised Fery's performance, saying he sees no reason why Fery cannot reach the top 50. Lloyd highlighted Fery's speed, movement, and willingness to vary his game.
In other action, top seed Alex de Minaur of Australia advanced to the quarter-finals with a straightforward 6-4, 6-1 win over Canada's Denis Shapovalov. De Minaur will face American Brandon Nakashima in the last eight.
