France to Acquire Latvian Origin Robotics' Anti-Drone System Blaze
The French armed forces will purchase the anti-drone system Blaze developed by Latvian company Origin Robotics, with plans for local assembly and production in France.

The French defense procurement agency has signed an agreement with Origin Robotics, a Latvian developer of autonomous weapon systems, to acquire the Blaze anti-drone system for the French armed forces. The deal includes not only the delivery of the systems but also the establishment of local assembly and production capabilities in France, in close cooperation with Origin Robotics. This collaboration aims to ensure long-term anti-drone defense capabilities for France while facilitating technology transfer and local manufacturing. The Blaze system is an autonomous anti-drone solution capable of detecting and neutralizing unmanned aerial vehicles. This international success highlights the competitiveness of Latvia's engineering and technology sector.
