157 combat engagements in a day on the front; Pokrovsk direction most intense
The Ukrainian General Staff reported 157 combat clashes on the front over the past day, with 23 attacks recorded in the Pokrovsk direction.
According to the evening update of the Ukrainian General Staff as of 22:00, there were 157 combat engagements on the front during the day. The most active area was the Pokrovsk direction, where the enemy launched 23 attacks. The Huliaipole direction followed with 16 attacks.
No clashes were recorded on the North Slobozhansk and Kursk directions. The enemy carried out 60 shellings of settlements and Ukrainian positions, two of which used multiple rocket launchers.
On the South Slobozhansk direction, the enemy attempted six assaults near Izbicke and Zybine. Three clashes are ongoing. On the Kupiansk direction, three attacks near Novoplatonivka, towards Kivsharivka and Kupiansk-Vuzlovy — one clash ongoing.
On the Lyman direction, Ukrainian forces repelled 11 attempts to advance near Shiykivka, Olhivka, Novoselivka, Drobysheve, Derylovo, and Lyman. On the Sloviansk direction, 13 attacks were stopped near Kryva Luka, Kalenyky, Zakitne, and Rai-Oleksandrivka.
On the Kramatorsk direction, one assault near Tykhonivka was recorded. On the Kostiantynivka direction, 11 attacks were repelled near Pleshchiivka, Ivanopillya, Illinivka, Rusyn Yar, and Kostiantynivka.
On the Pokrovsk direction, the enemy made 23 attempts to advance near Vilne, Novooleksandrivka, Shevchenko, Kotlyne, Udachne, Dorozhne, as well as towards Bilytske, Kucherovy Yar, Shakhove, Novopavlivka, Filia, Toretske, Rodynske, Novohryshyne, Hulive, Myrne, Serhiivka. Three clashes are ongoing.
On the Oleksandrivsk direction, two attacks near Piddubne and Ternove. On the Huliaipole direction, 16 attacks near Huliaipole, Zaliznychne, Charivne, and towards Dobropillya, Rybne, Hirke, Vozdvyzhivka, Olenokostiantynivka — two ongoing. On the Orikhiv direction, two assaults near Kamyanske and Stepnohirsk.
