Google Calendar now lets you use any color you want for your events
Google Calendar has significantly expanded its event color options, offering up to 200 colors, including an RGB color picker for web users.

Google Calendar users now have a much wider range of colors to customize their events. Previously limited to just 11 predefined hues, the platform now offers up to 200 different colors. Web users also have access to a full RGB color picker, allowing them to choose any shade they prefer. However, mobile app users are restricted to 24 default colors, with no RGB picker available. The new feature is enabled by default but can be customized. The rollout has begun, but it may take a couple of weeks to reach all users. It is available to all Google Workspace customers, Workspace Individual subscribers, and personal Google account holders. This is the latest upgrade to the popular calendar app, which recently added the ability to schedule personal tasks and an AI-powered tool that suggests the best time for an event that suits all participants.
