Google has expanded its personalized intelligence feature to its Gemini app, making it easier for users to generate images by referencing details from their digital lives. The feature is now rolling out to Nano Banana and Google Photos for all eligible users in the United States.

Initially introduced this spring, personalized intelligence was previously limited to subscribers of the AI Pro and AI Ultra plans. Now, it gives Gemini access to information from other Google services like Gmail and Google Photos, enabling the chatbot to more immediately understand and act on image requests involving the user, their friends, or family.

For generating and editing images, users must be at least 18 years old and have a personal account. The image generation side of the tool is accessible to individuals aged 13 and up. Supported languages include Arabic, Dutch, English, French, German, Indonesian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Spanish, and Turkish.
