Google has announced its next Made By Google event, taking place on August 12 in New York City. The invitation doesn't name specific products, but the imagery clearly shows a new Pixel phone that looks very similar to last year's model. Rumors suggest the updated phones will come with higher prices due to a shortage of AI-driven components.

The phone's design is expected to be similar to previous Pixels, though the Pro and Pro Fold models may be slightly thinner. The most notable change could be the rumored "Pixel Glow" lights, a rear-facing notification and status indicator.

According to leaks, Google is finally dropping the base 128GB storage option for smaller phones. In 2025, both the Pixel 10 and Pixel 10 Pro started at 128GB, which is insufficient for a modern flagship as people upgrade less frequently. Now, the base storage for both phones will reportedly be 256GB.

For the European market, prices are expected to be €100 higher than last year's 256GB versions. The Pixel 11 will start at €999, the Pixel 11 Pro at €1,199. The Pixel 11 Pro XL and Pixel 11 Pro Fold will also see a €100 increase for their base 256GB models, making it a straight price hike.
