The Latvian cult band “Hospitāļu iela” will close its reunion tour on 7 November at the Kokaru Hall of the Mežaparks Great Bandstand in Riga. The event will also serve as the season-ending concert of “Ceļabiedri”, an alternative music concert series. Band members say this will be the last concert of the tour and that no continuation is planned.

What the musicians say

The group announced that the concert will end the year-long tour titled “Hospitāļu iela uz brīdi pamostas no komas” (“Hospitāļu iela wakes up from a coma for a while”). The musicians stress that everything they wanted to tell their fans has now been said. They thank listeners for the chance to meet again and invite them to attend concerts by their new bands and projects in the future.

The band’s history

The band was founded in 1997 by musician Edgars Šubrovskis. In various line-ups it was active until 2012, with creative pauses, album releases, concerts and recognition along the way. In 2025 the group reunited after a long break and played several concerts that were packed with audiences.

Special guests

The band “Gas of Latvia” and singer Ilze Aulmane will appear as special guests at the closing concert. The concert is described as a chance for those who missed the earlier shows, as well as for those who felt they were not enough.
