Latvian news portal NRA has published a recipe for cocoa cookies dipped in white or dark chocolate and decorated with patterns. They are intended for Halloween celebrations.

Latvian news portal NRA has published a recipe in its food section for people celebrating Halloween: cocoa cookies coated in a combination of white and dark chocolate after baking. Halloween is marked on 31 October, and the recipe is aimed at such gatherings.
Ingredients
The dough calls for 250 g of flour, 60 g of sweetened cocoa powder, salt, 230 g of butter, 150 g of icing sugar and two teaspoons of vanilla extract. For decoration, the recipe lists 85 g of white chocolate and 280 g of dark chocolate.
Method
First, mix the flour, cocoa, salt, softened butter, icing sugar and vanilla extract. Divide the dough into two parts and chill it in the refrigerator for 60 minutes.
After an hour, take out one piece of dough and cut it into 15 small shapes or circles. Place them in an oven preheated to 200 degrees and bake for about 10 minutes. Meanwhile, melt the white and dark chocolate separately in a microwave, in equal portions.
Dip the finished cookies into either the melted dark or white chocolate, as you prefer. Once the chocolate has set, make patterns on top using the other chocolate.
The recipe is kept simple, with steps limited to chilling the dough, baking and applying the chocolate coating.
