Huawei Watch D3: a discreet health monitor in smartwatch form
Huawei's new Watch D3, the third generation of the Chinese tech company's health-monitoring wearable, has shifted from a bulky device to a smartwatch-like design with a rectangular AMOLED display.

The Watch D3 is the latest model from Chinese technology company Huawei and the brand's most complete health-monitoring smart device. It is worn on the wrist and now looks much like a modern smartwatch. This matters because a device meant for tracking health indicators is becoming less conspicuous and more comfortable for everyday use.
Three generations to reach an elegant design
Huawei's engineers needed only three attempts, or three generations of the device, to reach the current solution. The earlier health-monitoring device was thick and awkward, resembling a «key» fob, and had a wide strap that made the wrist sweat.
The Watch D3 has been reworked into a more elegant device. It looks like a modern smartwatch that meets current expectations. Its display is a wide, bright, rectangular AMOLED screen.
