Estonia's housing prices grew faster than EU average in Q2
Housing prices in Estonia rose 5.8% year-on-year in the second quarter, outpacing the EU average of 4.7%. The steepest increases bloc-wide were recorded in Portugal, Bulgaria and Lithuania.

Housing prices in Estonia climbed 5.8% year-on-year in the second quarter, according to Eurostat figures, exceeding the European Union's average annual increase of 4.7%.
Compared with the first quarter, Estonian housing prices rose by 3.5%, while the EU as a whole saw quarterly growth of just 1.2%.
In the eurozone, housing prices rose 4% year-on-year in the second quarter and 1.1% compared with the previous quarter.
Portugal leads EU growth
Among EU member states, Portugal recorded the largest annual increase in housing prices in the second quarter, at 16.5%, followed by Bulgaria at 15.5% and Lithuania at 14.3%.
Price declines were observed in Finland, where housing became 2.7% cheaper, Luxembourg, down 2.2%, and France, down 0.8%.
