The final concert of Eesti Laul 2027, Estonia's national song contest used to choose its Eurovision entry, will be hosted by singer Eda-Ines Etti, who performs under the stage name Ines, and singer Koit Toome. The final takes place on January 30, and the winner will represent Estonia at the 2027 Eurovision Song Contest in Burgas, Bulgaria.

Both Have Competed at Eurovision

Ines represented Estonia at Eurovision in 2000. Toome did so twice: in 1998 and in 2017, when he performed as a duo with singer Laura Põldvere. Both have been on the music scene for many years, yet they have done few joint projects. They have never gone on tour together or recorded duets. They did, however, work as judges on the show Eesti otsib superstaari, and in 2007 both competed for the right to represent Estonia at Eurovision.

Experience With the Contest

Etti has previously hosted the Eurolaul and Eesti Laul contests four times. Her most recent turn as host was in 2025, alongside rapper Korea.

For Toome, hosting will be an entirely new role, although he knows Eesti Laul better than many Estonian performers. His record includes several successful performances as well as a failed attempt to reach the final. He has also taken part as a songwriter, accompanist and backing vocalist, appeared in interval videos and even helped carry a piano onto the stage.

"Hosting is probably the only thing I haven't yet done at Eesti Laul," Toome says with a laugh.

The final will be held at Unibet Arena. Before that, Toome and Ines will appear in front of audiences in the programme "Start" at the end of November.
