Estonian Football: Tartu Tammeka snatches late win over Narva Trans

In the 17th round of the Estonian Premium League, Tartu Tammeka defeated Narva Trans 1-0 thanks to Tristan Koskor's 100th league goal. Other matches saw Levadia draw with Nõmme Kalju and Nõmme United come from behind to beat Harju.

On Sunday, June 21, in the 17th round of the Estonian Premium League, Tartu Tammeka snatched a 1-0 victory over Narva Trans with a goal in stoppage time. Tristan Koskor scored his 100th goal in the Premium League in the second added minute, securing three crucial points for the Tartu club.

Tammeka, with 23 points, holds fifth place in the standings. Trans, with 10 points, is at the bottom. Levadia leads the table with 43 points, followed by Flora (30), Nõmme Kalju (30), and Paide (25). Later Sunday, Flora and Paide are set to play. The round will conclude on Friday, June 26, with a match between Pärnu Vaprus and Kuressaare.

Two matches of the round took place on Saturday. Levadia failed to hold onto a win against Nõmme Kalju, drawing 1-1. Boubacar Tambedou put the white-greens ahead in the third minute of stoppage time, but the "pink panthers" equalized two minutes later through Daniil Tarasenkov. Tambedou also missed a penalty in the 79th minute, and at the end of the first half, Kalju head coach Nikita Andreev was sent off after receiving two yellow cards.

Nõmme United secured a comeback victory away against Harju 3-1. The hosts took the lead in the 34th minute when Daniil Rudenko scored directly from a corner kick. In the second half, United scored three unanswered goals: Zakaria Beglarishvili provided assists for all three, with goals from Koen Oostenbrink, Benjamin Chisala, and Eger Õunapuu.
