Estonian President Congratulates Ukraine and Moldova on EU Progress

In a social media post, he congratulated both leaders: Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and Moldovan President Maia Sandu, noting that Ukraine and Moldova have taken an important step towards the EU and are 'among friends'.
Karis highlighted that this progress demonstrates the ability of European countries to unite and move forward when it comes to Europe's future. He acknowledged that a difficult path of reforms lies ahead for Ukraine and Moldova, but Estonia will continue to support them.
Estonia has repeatedly advocated for accelerated rapprochement of Ukraine and Moldova with the European Union and provides political and expert assistance to these countries.
