The investment management company Indexo and Indexo Bank have increased their share capital, according to an announcement to the Nasdaq Riga stock exchange, where Indexo shares are listed. The increase means new funds have been invested in the companies, and in Indexo's case the ownership structure is changing as well.

Share issue and investor

In a closed share issue, SIA Pirmdiena subscribed to 1.2 million new Indexo shares. Pirmdiena is an investment company owned by Lauris Libert, founder and co-owner of the internet company Draugiem Group. The issue price was 2.50 euros per share, so the total investment in the company came to three million euros.

The Latvian Register of Enterprises registered an increase in Indexo's share capital of 300,000 euros. After the subscription, the company's share capital stands at 10,901,531 euros.

It had previously been reported that once the new shares are registered, Indexo will have 43,606,124 shares in total. Libert, through Pirmdiena, will hold 2.75% of all Indexo shares.

The bank's capital

Following a decision by Indexo Bank's shareholders' meeting, the bank's share capital has also been increased, by 2,970,000 euros. It now stands at 38,885,752 euros.

The source does not state what the newly invested funds are intended for.
