Easterby expects Australia to 'impose themselves' in Sydney
Ireland coach Simon Easterby anticipates a physical challenge from Australia in the opening Nations Championship match in Sydney on Saturday.

Ireland head coach Simon Easterby has said he expects Australia to try and dominate in Saturday's Nations Championship opener in Sydney. The Wallabies, coached by Joe Schmidt, will host Ireland in the first of three summer matches. Last November, Ireland defeated Australia 46-19 in Dublin. Easterby noted that Australia, who will host the Rugby World Cup next year, will want to make a statement at home.
"They are a physical team who will look to impose themselves on the opposition," Easterby said. He also highlighted Australia's attacking threats and ability to create opportunities.
The squad of 36 players has all been training well in Sydney, with a good mix of youth and experience. Easterby said selection will be tough as both younger and experienced players have impressed. He praised the squad's work ethic, noting that no one has dropped out of training and everyone has hit the ground running.
