Man arrested for shooting at passersby in Irpin
Kyiv region police have arrested a 47-year-old local resident suspected of shooting at passersby in Irpin on June 13. No one was injured, and an investigation for hooliganism has been launched.
Police in Kyiv region have detained a 47-year-old local man suspected of firing shots at passersby on a street in Irpin, Buchansky district. The incident occurred on June 13.
According to the Buchansky district police department, patrol response units and an investigative team arrived at the scene immediately. They quickly identified and arrested the suspect. Fortunately, no one was injured in the shooting.
A criminal case has been opened under Article 296, Part 4 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (hooliganism). The investigation is ongoing.
Related incident in Kyiv
Earlier, in the Obolon district of Kyiv, a road conflict between drivers escalated when one man shot another in the stomach with a pistol. The suspect in that case has also been arrested.
