Police intensify road checks during Midsummer holidays – nine drunk drivers caught

Despite repeated warnings, some drivers continue to get behind the wheel under the influence of alcohol, endangering themselves and others. Over the past day, police detained nine such drivers.

The State Police remind that during the festive season one should avoid drunk driving, handle fire carefully, and keep a close eye on children. Previous holidays have already resulted in road accidents with casualties and injuries. To reduce risks, large-scale police raids will take place tonight and tomorrow night.
