The latest book review includes Linda Mence's poetry collection "Acij ir maza kabatiņa" (published by Neputns). Editor Artis Ostups notes that Mence's poems are open and attentive, listening to other beings and things, allowing them to determine the text's form and content. The collection harmoniously combines an interest in history, concerns about the present, and care for language. The book is available for €10.

Meanwhile, publisher Aminori has released a collection of stories by Juan Rulfo, "Līdzenums liesmās", translated from Spanish. Rulfo (1917–1986) is an influential Mexican writer whose works blur the boundary between life and death, giving voice to the dead and weaving supernatural elements into human life to uncover hidden events and repressed memories. The translation was done by poet Edvīns Raups. The book costs €18.
