Third Stage of Jelgava Open Beach Volleyball Tournament This Saturday

According to the Jelgava Sports Service Center, the third stage of the Jelgava Open beach volleyball tournament will be held this Saturday, July 11, at the Pasta Island beach volleyball courts. The competition is scheduled to start at 11:00 AM, with a team meeting and group draw at 10:45 AM near the courts.

The tournament is open to all interested participants regardless of age, gender, or playing experience. All contestants will compete in a single overall category. The event will consist of two rounds: a group stage followed by elimination matches.

Teams can register for free until 10:00 PM on July 10 via the website “ej.uz/vkbiolars”. Those who register on the day of the event will be charged a participation fee of 10 euros.

The Jelgava Open beach volleyball series includes five stages this summer, two of which have already taken place. The tournament is organized by the volleyball club “Biolars Olaine/Jelgava” in cooperation with the Jelgava Sports Service Center. During the competition, the Pasta Island beach volleyball courts will be closed to other visitors.
