Jonass and Reišulis Brothers in Top Ten at Italian MotoGP Qualifying
Latvian riders Pauls Jonass (MXGP) and brothers Jānis and Kārlis Reišulis (MX2) finished in the top ten during Saturday's qualifying for the Italian MotoGP round.

Qualifying for the Italian round of the MotoGP World Championship took place on Saturday. In the MXGP class, Slovenian Tim Gajser took the win, finishing 4.855 seconds ahead of compatriot Jan Pancar and 7.065 seconds ahead of Italian Andrea Adamo. Latvian rider Pauls Jonass, competing on a Husqvarna, finished tenth, 23.083 seconds behind the winner.
In the MX2 class, Frenchman Mathys Valin posted the fastest time, beating Spaniard Guillem Farrers by 2.887 seconds and South African Camden McLellan by 4.002 seconds. Jānis Reišulis placed sixth, 21.235 seconds off the pace, while Kārlis Reišulis took eighth, 30.071 seconds behind the leader.
Sunday's race programme: MX2 first race at 14:15 and second at 17:10 Latvia time; MXGP races at 15:15 and 18:10.
