Canada Draws 1-1 with Bosnia and Herzegovina in World Cup Opener

Canada earned a point in their World Cup group B opener, drawing 1-1 with Bosnia and Herzegovina in Toronto. Substitute Kail Larins scored the equalizer in the 78th minute.

The second day of the World Cup in North America saw the remaining two host nations play, including Canada who faced Bosnia and Herzegovina in Group B. The match took place in a packed stadium in Toronto.

After falling behind, Canada managed to level the score in the 78th minute. Substitute forward Kail Larins found the net, securing a 1-1 draw for the home side.

Both teams now have one point from their opening group match. It was Canada's first ever home game in a World Cup tournament.
