Karamo Brown, known for his motivational talks on Netflix’s “Queer Eye,” has entered the wellness and AI space with his new app, Kē. After dedicating a year and a half to his own personal journey—including fitness, nutrition, meditation, sobriety, relationships, and growth—Brown aims to help others achieve similar transformations.

The app provides personalized fitness plans tailored to users’ existing equipment and schedules, as well as nutrition guidance based on what food they have at home. Users can request adjustments via an AI chatbot. Each workout comes with instructional videos to ensure proper form.

For mental health, Kē includes a meditation section with videos targeting various emotions to manage stress and anxiety. A community section allows users to join supportive groups focused on shared experiences, such as sobriety or wellness discussions.

The standout feature is “AI Karamo,” which lets users converse with a digital version of Brown in real time. Powered by AI startup Delphi, the clone is built from interviews, podcast episodes, and other clips to represent Brown as authentically as possible.

Brown’s app reflects a broader trend of celebrities embracing AI, though many have voiced concerns over unauthorized use of their likenesses. There is also worry about fans forming one-sided attachments to celebrity chatbots. Brown emphasizes that Kē is not a substitute for real relationships, but a tool for personal growth. Human moderators oversee the app to ensure safety, though users should avoid sharing sensitive information with the AI.

Looking ahead, Delphi plans to introduce agentic features that allow the AI clone to perform tasks for users, such as automatically adjusting their workout plans.

Kē is now available on iOS and Android. The subscription costs $14.99 per month after a three-day free trial.
