Piraeus' Olympiacos secured their 16th Greek championship title on Saturday, defeating Athens' Panathinaikos 89:85 at home in the decisive fifth game of the finals. Olympiacos won the series 3-2.

However, the victory was overshadowed by an off-court incident. Late in the third quarter, Panathinaikos forward Kendrick Nunn, after a foul against Sasha Vezenkov, accused his opponent of flopping. Terique Jones of Olympiacos rushed to defend his teammate, and the two players began shoving. The referees ejected both from the arena.

Following the ejections, Jones confronted Nunn near the locker rooms, attempting to settle the score. Only with the intervention of others were the basketball players separated.

Notably, Olympiacos also won the EuroLeague title this season.
