KIA K4 Sport Wagon – a compact station wagon with a large trunk and basic features
The new KIA K4 SW offers a spacious cargo area and a low price, but with a simple interior and some ergonomic quirks.
KIA has launched the new K4 Sport Wagon in Latvia – a compact station wagon that stands out for its practicality and affordable price. The car is 4.7 meters long and seats five. The trunk capacity exceeds 600 liters, and with the seats folded down it approaches 1.5 cubic meters. The manufacturer says it can fit an empty Euro pallet or two large suitcases with room to spare.
The model is equipped with two small-displacement turbo petrol engines, each producing 150 horsepower. Fuel consumption is estimated at 6.3 liters per 100 kilometers. Tire size is 205/55 R16, but there is no spare wheel, even though there is enough space under the trunk floor.
The interior features many physical buttons and simple trim. The LX Plus trim is the most basic, with a starting price of around €26,000 after discounts. The cabin has large cup holders but no rubber mats, so items like glasses or phones may slide around. The K4 SW is also available in an interesting Morning Haze color and comes with a 7-year warranty at no extra cost.
