Kyiv: 13 injured in Russian drone strikes throughout the day
Russian forces continued intense drone strikes on Kyiv on September 3, with the number of injured reaching 13, city mayor Vitali Klitschko reported.
Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko said Russian forces kept up intense attacks on the Ukrainian capital with jet-powered drones on September 3, injuring 13 people in total.
According to Klitschko, six of the injured remained hospitalized in city hospitals, including one child.
Attacks continued throughout the day
Earlier in the day, six people were already reported injured across different districts of Kyiv following drone strikes. In the Darnytskyi district, debris from a downed drone fell onto a road, wounding a child.
In the evening of September 3, Russian forces struck Kyiv again, hitting a nine-story residential building and sparking a fire. There were also casualties from this attack.
By the end of the day, the total number of people injured across the city had risen to 13.
