Death toll in Russian strike on Kyiv rises to 18
The death toll from a massive Russian attack on Kyiv has risen to 18 after rescuers recovered two more bodies from rubble. The attack also left 58 injured.

The number of fatalities in Kyiv following a massive Russian attack has increased to 18. Ukraine's State Emergency Service (SES) reported that rescuers pulled two more bodies from the debris of a residential building in the Darnytskyi district.
As of the evening of July 6, authorities had confirmed 58 wounded. The attack occurred on the night of July 6, with Russia launching a combined strike using attack drones and various types of air-, ground-, and sea-launched missiles. Air defense systems neutralized 363 out of 419 targets, but 29 ballistic missiles and 18 drones hit 34 locations.
The most critical situation remains in the city of Vyshneve, Kyiv region, where the attack caused casualties and left 14 people injured, including two SES rescuers.
