Four people, including two children, injured in Russian attack on Kyiv

Four people, including two children, were injured in a Russian attack on Kyiv overnight into September 1, with casualties reported in the Solomianskyi district.

The Kyiv City Military Administration reported that four people were injured in a Russian attack on the Ukrainian capital. According to a statement posted on social media, as of 2:00 a.m., four casualties were known in the Solomianskyi district, two of them children.

Preceding events

It was previously reported that fires broke out in Kyiv's Darnytskyi, Solomianskyi, and Holosiivskyi districts on the evening of August 31, caused by falling debris from Russian drones. Full details on the extent of damage and the condition of those injured have not yet been made public.
