Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko reported that the capital was under attack from Russian drones during the day on August 30.

A fire broke out in a non-residential building in the Shevchenkivskyi district, with emergency services working at the scene. At the same time, a medical crew was dispatched to respond to a call in the Holosiivskyi district.

An air raid alert sounded over Kyiv for about an hour and a half in the afternoon, with the Air Force reporting jet-powered drones flying toward the capital.

Klitschko later added that in the Holosiivskyi district, falling drone debris damaged the facade of a two-story building housing a café. There was no fire in that incident, and no injuries were reported.

No official information about casualties elsewhere in the city has been released so far.
