The Cinevilla film park, located in Praviņas in Slampe parish, 15 km from Tukums in Latvia, will hold the “Danger Fest 2026” festival every evening from 18:00 to 23:00, from 23 to 31 October. The event is themed around digital reality and horror, combining light, sound, projections, technology, live actors and art. It is the third time the festival is being organised by the company Cinevilla Event.

Theme and idea

Organiser Anete Vanceviča says that screen time, children's health, the impact of technology on daily life, drone incursions and global warming show that technological progress does not always mean only growth. The festival brings these topics together in a single experience and invites visitors to look at the world from a different perspective.

A programme for different audiences

The festival is designed to be family-friendly. A special programme for children and families will run daily from 18:00 to 21:00, while later in the evening the atmosphere will become more intense and frightening. The programme differs each day, so visitors can choose the day and time that suit them best.

One of the central points will be a large stage with a daily audiovisual programme: DJ sets, dance and laser shows. Robotic costumes and technologically created characters will also feature. The streets and buildings of the film town, which covers several hectares, will be supplemented with light projections, sound, decorations, immersive art elements and live actors.

Halloween night

The festival's climax will be Halloween night on 31 October, with a special programme, different scenography and a new visual look. The centrepiece will be a drone show, planned to take place twice so that more spectators can see it. The programme will also feature a host and specially costumed performers.

Practical information

Two large car parks will be available. Warm and cold drinks will be on sale on site, and the Cinevilla kafe café will be open. Further details on the programme and tickets will be announced later and can be found at dangerfest.lv.
