Wooden House Manufacturers: High Demand, Waiting Times and Prices Revealed
Demand for wooden houses remains strong, with manufacturers reporting queues, while average areas and cost trends are disclosed.

Manufacturers of wooden frame and modular houses in Latvia report steady demand. According to Swedbank data, about half of private house builders choose wooden houses, while the other half prefer brick buildings. Manufacturers admit that queues often form and there is enough work.
Swedbank technical consultant Ralfs Rohtla noted that the average indoor area for private houses is 138 square meters, and outdoor space, such as a terrace, averages 37 square meters. These figures apply to all types of houses.
The article covers the pros and cons of standard and custom projects, nuances of bank financing, and order fulfillment times. Manufacturers observe that buyers have become more rational, carefully avoiding extra square meters. At the same time, as the economy improves, people want larger houses.
Exact prices and specific waiting times are not disclosed, but manufacturers indicate that the current situation is stable and the market is active.
