The first-ever World Cup held across three countries and featuring 48 teams has made the tournament more unpredictable, according to Konstantin Vasilev, Estonia's all-time most capped player and current head coach of Flora Tallinn. In an interview with Rus.ERR, he acknowledged that the large number of teams and time zone differences mean some matches will inevitably be missed, but the world is big and limiting the World Cup to 24 teams would now be too few. Vasilev emphasized that over 100 matches is a marathon for fans. Regarding favorites, he listed several teams with equal chances: England, France, Spain, Portugal, Netherlands, Argentina, and Brazil. He did not rule out a Brazilian victory, noting that the team has not won the World Cup for a long time and has the potential. Due to the packed schedule, much will depend on players' adaptation to workload and climate.
