Fraud call center in Kharkiv eliminated: Latvian residents lose at least 200,000 euros
Latvian police, in cooperation with Ukrainian authorities, have dismantled a fraud call center in Kharkiv that specifically targeted Latvian residents, defrauding them of at least 200,000 euros.

A fraudulent call center operating in Kharkiv, Ukraine, with the aim of swindling money from Latvian residents has been completely eliminated. The callers were arrested first. They promised to help recover money stolen by other scammers, thereby defrauding Latvians of at least 200,000 euros. The organizers were surprised by the presence of Latvian police in Kharkiv and now face imprisonment. The operation was carried out jointly by Latvian and Ukrainian law enforcement agencies.
