Fraudsters send fake emails posing as Swedbank
Swedbank customers have received fraudulent emails urging them to update their bank data, though the bank confirms it never sent such messages. Residents are urged to avoid the links and use only online banking.

At the start of the working week, a number of Swedbank customers received targeted fraudulent emails urging them to update their banking details. The bank has confirmed it did not send these messages and warned that any data entered would fall into the hands of scammers.
Customers who have already disclosed their data are urged to immediately contact the bank's customer service center by calling 67444444.
How to spot the scam
Swedbank reminds customers that any update of banking data takes place only through online banking, where the customer logs in and authorizes the changes themselves — the bank never asks customers to do this by following a link in an email.
In this case, the fraudulent emails were sent from an address with no connection whatsoever to the bank, though other similar addresses may also be used. The emails include a button or link labeled "Join," which actually leads to a fraudulent page designed to harvest personal and banking data. Residents are urged not to follow such links and to use only the official online banking platform for any communication with the bank.
Fake CSDD pages also found
Over the past week, fake websites imitating the Road Traffic Safety Directorate (CSDD) have also been discovered. Since CSDD recently suffered a cyberattack that may have exposed historical payment data, residents are urged to be especially critical of any future requests appearing to come from CSDD and to use only the agency's official website.
