Police and relative appeal for help finding missing 84-year-old man in Krāslava region

The Southern Latgale unit of the State Police's Latgale regional department is searching for Alberts Krūms, born in 1942, who has been missing since mid-September. The man left a relative's home in the Vortņiki area of Kastuļina parish, Krāslava region, on September 17, 2026, and his whereabouts have remained unknown since.
Description
Police describe the missing man as approximately 170 centimeters tall, of medium build, with grey hair. At the time he went missing, he was wearing grey sweatpants, a golden-colored jacket, a blue vest, and brown slippers.

The State Police is asking anyone who may know Albertus Krūms' possible whereabouts, or who recognizes him from photos being circulated, to come forward.
