Russian troops struck energy infrastructure facilities in Mykolaiv, southern Ukraine, in the evening, according to the regional military administration.

The attack left several districts of the regional center partially without electricity, said Heorhii Reshetilov, acting head of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration.

Restoration depends on security situation

According to the official, energy workers will begin restoring power supply as soon as the security situation in the city permits it. No specific timeline for restoring electricity has been given yet.

Mykolaiv is one of the regional centers that regularly suffers from Russian strikes on energy facilities, particularly during the autumn and winter seasons, when power outages affect residents' daily lives and the operation of utility services.
