Russia strikes Naftogaz facilities 13 times over past week
Russian forces carried out 13 drone and missile attacks on facilities of Ukraine's largest oil and gas company, Naftogaz, over the past week, damaging equipment and halting some production. No employees were injured.

Naftogaz, Ukraine's largest national oil and gas company, has reported that Russian forces struck its facilities across the country 13 times over the past week using drones and missiles. One of the company's assets was targeted repeatedly during that period.
The strikes also hit gas production infrastructure. According to the company, no staff members were injured in the attacks.
Equipment damage
Naftogaz said the equipment and production facilities involved sustained serious damage. Operations at some sites have been suspended, and a portion of production output has been lost as a result.
The company noted that Russia has now attacked Naftogaz Group facilities 293 times since the start of 2026.
Context
The report follows a separate incident in which steel producer ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih said its plant was hit by a Russian missile strike overnight between 15 and 16 August.
Ukraine's energy infrastructure has repeatedly come under Russian attack in recent months, disrupting gas and oil production and supply across the country.
