Russian forces launched a ballistic missile attack on the Ukrainian city of Dnipro overnight on September 22, injuring three people, according to Oleksandr Hanzha, head of the Dnipropetrovsk regional military administration.
Hanzha said medics are providing all necessary assistance to those affected. No further details on the severity of the injuries or the identities of the victims have been released.
Strikes also hit other targets in the region
The same night, Russian forces simultaneously attacked industrial facilities in Dnipro, Kryvyi Rih and Pavlohrad. Fires broke out at the affected sites as a result of the strikes.
Russia continues to regularly target Ukrainian cities with missile and drone strikes, often aiming at industrial and energy infrastructure. The Dnipropetrovsk region, located near the front line, remains one of the most frequently attacked areas in eastern Ukraine.
