Two men were killed on the evening of September 18 when a Russian drone struck the village of Tekstylne in Ukraine's Kherson region, according to Oleksandr Prokudin, head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration.

Prokudin said Russian forces attacked the settlement at around 18:00 local time. Both men sustained injuries incompatible with life as a result of the strike. Relevant services are currently working to identify the victims.

The regional head expressed condolences to the families and loved ones of those killed.

Hospital targeted earlier the same day

Earlier on September 18, Russian occupying forces dropped explosives from a drone onto the grounds of a hospital in Kherson city, damaging the facility's service vehicles.

Kherson region remains under near-constant Russian drone and artillery fire, with civilian infrastructure, including medical facilities and residential areas, repeatedly coming under attack.
