Russian armed forces attacked the territory of an enterprise in Khmelnytskyi district on the evening of September 2 using jet-powered unmanned aerial vehicles. The head of the Khmelnytskyi Regional Military Administration, Serhii Tiurin, and Ukraine's Air Force reported the attack.

The Air Force said jet-powered drones were flying toward the city. Air defense units were active during the air raid alert and managed to shoot down at least one of the drones.

Debris causes fire

Following the air defense operation, debris from the downed drone fell onto the territory of an enterprise in Khmelnytskyi district. This caused a fire that engulfed a cargo truck and a warehouse building.

Tiurin said that State Emergency Service crews contained the fire. The truck's driver was injured in the incident, sustaining shrapnel wounds to his back. He is in a state of shock and is receiving the necessary medical assistance.

Further details about the incident may be released later.
