Four dead after Russian drone strikes car in Sumy Oblast

Four people were killed when a Russian FPV drone struck a car in the Shostka district of Sumy Oblast, according to Oleh Hryhorov, head of the Sumy Oblast Military Administration.
Victims
Among those killed were a married couple — a 58-year-old man and a 56-year-old woman. Also killed in the strike were a 45-year-old man and a 76-year-old woman.
Hryhorov shared the details in an official statement without providing further information about the circumstances of the attack or the purpose of the car's journey.
Sumy Oblast, located in northeastern Ukraine along the border with Russia, has repeatedly come under Russian drone and artillery fire in recent months. The Shostka district lies close to the front line and remains at frequent risk of such strikes.
Ukrainian officials continue to document civilian casualties from these attacks, which they describe as strikes on non-military targets.
