Russian drone strike on Chuhuiv city centre kills child
A Russian drone strike on the centre of Chuhuiv in Kharkiv region killed two people, including a child, and injured a woman, local officials said. The Saturday evening attack destroyed a private house and outbuildings.

A Russian drone struck a private house in the centre of Chuhuiv, a city in Ukraine's Kharkiv region, on Saturday evening, according to regional military administration head Oleh Syniehubov and Chuhuiv mayor Halyna Minaieva.
According to preliminary information, two people were killed in the strike, one of them a child. A 40-year-old woman was also injured, reportedly suffering severe wounds.
Damage and response
The strike destroyed a private residential house along with an outbuilding and a garage. A fire broke out at the site of the attack and firefighting efforts were underway.
Local officials noted that the strike hit the central part of the city, an area of residential housing. Details on the exact casualty toll and scale of destruction may still be updated as information becomes available.
