Russian strike sparks fire at industrial plant in Dnipro
Russian forces attacked the Ukrainian city of Dnipro overnight, causing a fire at an industrial facility. No casualties have been reported so far.
An overnight Russian attack on the Ukrainian city of Dnipro caused a fire to break out at one of the city's industrial enterprises. Oleksandr Ganzha, head of the Dnipropetrovsk regional military administration, confirmed the enemy had attacked the city, adding that preliminarily there were no casualties.
What happened
According to local media reports, a series of explosions rang out in the city between 1:00 and 1:30 a.m. Ukraine's Air Force had earlier warned of a number of jet-propelled drones heading toward the city.
No further details on the extent of the damage have been released so far, though the fire affected one of the city's industrial facilities. Local authorities are continuing to assess the consequences of the attack.
