Russian drone attack on Kyiv: number of injured rises to nine

Another person was injured after a Russian drone struck a private house in Kyiv's Dniprovskyi district on the evening of September 22, according to Kyiv's State Emergency Service (DSNS). The strike damaged the building's facade and blew out windows. The injured person was hospitalized.
Separately, a fire broke out in the Obolonskyi district and has since been extinguished, with no casualties reported.
With this latest casualty, the total number of people injured in the evening attack on the capital has risen to nine.
How the attack unfolded
On the evening of September 22, Russian forces struck Kyiv with jet-powered drones. The main impact hit the Obolonskyi district, where eight people were injured after drones hit fuel storage tanks and a non-residential building. Strikes were also recorded in the Pecherskyi and Dniprovskyi districts.
