Russian drone strike on Kryvyi Rih shopping center kills six, injures 103
A daytime Russian drone strike on a shopping center in Kryvyi Rih killed six people and injured 103, with a second wave of drones hitting emergency responders at the scene about 30 minutes later.

A Russian drone attack on a shopping center in the Ukrainian city of Kryvyi Rih has killed six people and injured at least 103, according to Euromaidan Press.
The strike took place during daytime hours and set the shopping center ablaze. The attack did not end there: roughly 30 minutes later, a second wave of drones struck emergency workers who had already arrived at the scene to fight the fire and assist the injured.
This sequence meant that danger extended beyond the victims of the initial strike to include rescuers, firefighters and medical personnel working to respond to the disaster.
Kryvyi Rih, the hometown of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, has repeatedly been targeted by Russian missile and drone strikes during the war. The attack forms part of Russia's broader campaign of aerial strikes on populated areas of Ukraine.
Detailed information about the identities of those killed and injured, as well as the full extent of the damage to the shopping center and surrounding infrastructure, has not yet been released. Authorities continue to assess the consequences of the attack.
