Russian forces attacked the city of Sumy overnight Monday using two unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). The strikes targeted civilian infrastructure, leaving three people injured, including one child.
According to Oleh Hrihorov, head of the Sumy Oblast Military Administration, the first drone hit a multi-story residential building in the Kovpatsky district, striking the balcony of one apartment. The second drone attacked the central part of the city, damaging a non-residential building.
The condition of the injured is currently being clarified. The incident underscores Russia's deliberate attacks on civilian objects in Ukraine.
