Two killed, including a child, in Russian air strike on Donetsk Oblast village

Russian forces struck the settlement of Bylbasivka in Donetsk Oblast with two air-dropped bombs on Sunday, killing two people, including a 13-year-old child, and injuring two others. Two houses were destroyed and about 20 damaged.

Russian aircraft dropped two FAB-250 bombs on the settlement of Bylbasivka in Donetsk Oblast on Sunday, 30 August, at around 11:00 local time, according to Vadym Liakh, head of the Sloviansk City Military Administration.

The strike killed two people, including a 13-year-old child, and injured two others.

Homes destroyed

Two houses were completely destroyed in the attack, while roughly 20 more sustained damage. Liakh shared details and photographs from the scene on his Telegram channel.

Donetsk Oblast, which lies along the front line, continues to face regular Russian air and artillery strikes that frequently hit civilian infrastructure and residential areas.
