Russian missile strike on Odesa damages apartment block, three injured

Russian forces launched a missile strike on Odesa on the morning of September 12, damaging a multi-storey residential building and injuring three people.

On the morning of Friday, September 12, Russian armed forces carried out a missile strike on the Ukrainian city of Odesa, damaging a multi-storey residential building. The head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, Serhii Lysak, reported that three people were preliminarily confirmed injured.

According to Ukraine's Air Force, at around 5:30 a.m. the movement of Russian cruise missiles was detected coming from the Black Sea area and heading toward Odesa.

Attacks also reported in other cities

The same night, Russian forces struck the city of Zaporizhzhia with attack drones, hitting a residential area. Two people were killed in that strike, with additional injuries and building damage reported.

Overnight into September 12, Russian occupying forces also fired ballistic missiles at Kryvyi Rih from several directions, striking an industrial facility. One person was killed and two others were wounded in that attack.

In Dnipro, an enemy strike caused a fire at one of the city's industrial enterprises. According to preliminary information, no casualties were reported there.
