Wildberries warehouse in Russia's Samara Oblast catches fire after drone attack

A fire has erupted at a logistics centre of Wildberries, Russia's largest online retailer, in the settlement of Novosemeikino in Samara Oblast, following a drone attack. The company's press service confirmed the fire to RBC, stating that it was a result of the attack. According to preliminary reports, no one was injured.

The logistics centre was opened in May 2025 and covers an area of approximately 130,000 square metres. Once fully operational, the warehouse was designed to hold up to 120 million items.

Russian media outlet ASTRA, based on eyewitness footage, reported that smoke was rising over the Wildberries warehouse in the Novosemeikino industrial park.

This incident comes after several regions of Russia were attacked during the night of 1–2 August. An oil refinery was hit in Saratov, and an airfield was struck in Engels.
