Russian forces strike Naftogaz facility three times overnight in central Ukraine
Russian forces hit a Naftogaz oil and gas facility in central Ukraine three times overnight on 6–7 November, causing an explosion and a large fire. No employees were hurt, as all staff had been evacuated.

Russian forces attacked an oil and gas facility of the Naftogaz Group, Ukraine's largest national oil and gas company, three times during the night of 6–7 November. The site is in central Ukraine. The strike is part of Russia's ongoing war against Ukraine and adds to the pressure on the country's energy infrastructure.
The attack damaged equipment, triggered an explosion at the facility and started a large-scale fire. The information was released by Serhii Fedorenko, acting head of Naftogaz.
No casualties
According to the statement, none of the company's employees were injured, because all staff were evacuated in time. Fedorenko thanked the State Emergency Service and Naftogaz workers for their swift response. The extent of the damage is still being assessed.
Wider overnight attack
The same night, Russia launched a combined attack on Ukraine using a total of 172 drones and 36 ballistic missiles. All of the missiles were fired towards Kyiv and Kyiv Oblast, where Russian forces targeted energy facilities and infrastructure.
The source does not specify the exact region where the affected Naftogaz facility is located, nor which weapons were used against it.
