Russian Strike on Odesa Port Kills Five, Wounds Ten
On July 13, Russian forces attacked port infrastructure in Odesa region, killing five and injuring ten people, including three women.

Russian occupiers struck port infrastructure in Odesa region on the afternoon of July 13, according to the Prosecutor General's Office and Odesa Regional Military Administration head Oleh Kiper. The attack killed five people and wounded ten others.
The investigation revealed damage to the superstructure of a foreign civilian vessel carrying fertilizer. Five crew members were killed. Among the ten injured are seven men aged 19 to 64 and three women aged 22 to 34. Seven of the wounded were hospitalized, while three are receiving outpatient treatment.
The Odesa Regional Prosecutor's Office has launched a pre-trial investigation under Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (war crimes resulting in death). Law enforcement is documenting the aftermath of the Russian strike.
Kiper called the attack another act of terror by the aggressor country aimed at global food security and civilian navigation, promising that those responsible will be held accountable.
Earlier on the morning of July 13, Russian forces also attacked Odesa, hitting a transport enterprise and injuring five people, including a child.
